… wait! … what? … Touch Joy?

What the heck does that mean? ☺ You can’t touch joy, it isn’t three-dimensional, you can’t hold it and put it in your pocket…or can you?

Before I go on I would like to ask you a few questions to see if you already know how to touch joy.

Do You Know How To Touch Joy?

What Do You Enjoy?

  • Write down five things that you enjoy.  

  • It can be a food, a place in nature, a person, a pet, a hobby, an activity, anything at all.

How Do You Feel?

  • Now, write down five things you feel about each thing you noted and enjoy above. 

  • You should have 25 feelings written down.

Make The Connection

  • And lastly, close your eyes and connect with each of those 25 emotions and tell me how you feel?
  • Are you sad?
  • Are you scared?
  • Are you angry?

Probably not, because you aligned your vibration with things that raise your vibration.

If I were to guess, you are smiling, possibly happy, or at least happier than a few minutes ago before you wrote your list, perhaps a bit giddy, excited, energized, simply by imagining things that you enjoy.

You Did It!

That is touching joy.

You energetically touched the emotion of joy, on purpose because you chose to. Not because something happened in your life, or you got something you wanted. But, because you placed your attention on the energy of joy.

It is an empowering exercise because it shows that we have the ability, and availability, to feel how we wish to feel, when we wish to. Of course life will continue to bring us situations that we might not choose, or wish to experience, and we do need to rise up accordingly. However, we can then align our vibration as we choose to while we face what needs our attention.

Raising Our Vibration

I know the word vibration might be a bit vague to some but it is actual quite literal. It is exactly what you are sensing it is.

Here’s an example, when I wrote out my list (see below) I actually started to feel each emotion as I imagined doing each thing. I felt a sensation in my core, in my heart, my mind, and even my heart felt a bit more open. That experience, of just writing it out and not even doing the things, actually raised my vibration; that is what I was sensing.

We want to live our life in the highest vibration possible.

Stay in Touch with Your Joy

My homework for you is this, do the exercise above and then begin to notice your vibration; your energy, your mood, your senses, your essence. See if you can deepen your relationship with your own vibration and notice when it is lower and play with raising it.

Can you sense when you actually touch joy? It is a discovery. Play in the meadow of your life and explore all of the wondrous pockets of expansion.
