There’s something about receiving a card in the mail that really delights me.
I received a lovepop card for my birthday and I still have it on my shelf…it’s too beautiful to throw away. You can have it mailed to you so that you can fill out the card personally or, fill out your card message on their website and they’ll mail it for you….it couldn’t be more easy!
There are so many amazing designs to choose from. So whether you’re celebrating a birthday, holiday or an everyday moment, your special someone will certainly feel extra-special when they receive one of these beautiful cards.

Fall Wooden Hanging Signs
I love decorating for the various seasons and holidays – fresh flowers in the spring, twinkle lights in the summer and traditional holiday decorations in the winter. So when my freind got me these two cute signs I loved them! For Halloween, “Boo” is, of course, perfect! But, I must say, that there was something so special about the “Thankful, Grateful, Blessed” sign for Thanksgiving, that we decided to hang it in our pantry all year long. It reminds us of all the wonderful gifts we have been given all year long.

Harney & Sons Paris Loose Leaf Tea
Ok, so it’s officially Autumn and that means pumpkins, and cooler temperatures, and soups, and sweaters, and one of my favorites: hot tea! Maybe it sounds silly to those in milder climates but in my world, hot tea in the summer just sounds painful (Mind you, I live in Austin, TX…). One of my absolute favorite teas is Harney & Sons Paris loose-leaf tea.
Harney & Sons is legitimately a family business. John Harney started blending teas out of his basement in 1983 and they have since become a well-respected international company. The blend “Paris” contains black tea, oolong tea, vanilla flavor, black currant flavor, bergamot oil, and caramel flavor. It is rich and soothing and pairs beautifully with a little milk (or nut-milk, if you’re like me) and honey, though frankly Paris is light and naturally sweet, so you don’t need the sweetener.
If you’re looking for some socks to throw on while you drink this tea by the window as the rain slowly falls alongside the descending autumn leaves (What am I, a novelist??), check out our friend Fazl, who were a part of our 12 Days of Love: insidewink Valentine’s Gift Guide and were just recently featured at Nordstrom. You could also try this recipe for Chai Tea Pumpkin Pie from the Harney & Sons website.

Vegan Fur Lined Trapper Moc
Cold feet are the worst. Not the jittery why-am-I-getting married-jumping-out-of-a-plane-wearing-a-bathing-suit-in-public cold feet. Genuine cold feet! Now that Fall is upon us (and we can actually leave the house) I have geared up with my two favorite things – a slip-on moccasin-style shoe and toasty (faux) fur lining. I found them both in RockDove’s Trapper Moc in ruby red, the new go-to for my habitually chilly toes.
A small, California-based company it’s RockDove’s mission “to turn the world’s most boring footwear–the slipper–into something that’s both delightful and exciting to wear,” and they’ve done it. With vegan fur-lining, waterproof soles, and memory foam footbed, these microsuede slippers are good for both indoor and outdoor use, not to mention they’re cute as all get-out. And with moderate arch support made for “exhausted feet,” (how did you know, RockDove? How did you know??) these ruby slippers remind me there’s no place like home, and if you’re out, there’s nothing like warm, well-cared-for feet.
