I have a friend who somehow always manages to give really unique and thoughtful gifts. Last year for my birthday this same friend, named Sabrina, sent me a beautiful focaccia bread, sage scented candle and protea flower bouquet from this really beautiful company called, Flamingo Estate, located in Los Angeles, CA.

What I love about this establishment is that they offer something uniquely wonderful for all the senses…so whether it’s a bottle of Rose wine, Jasmine Facial Mist, Wild Flower Honey you’re sure to find something truly special to delight in.

Oh my gosh… I LOVE the taste of coconut… so when I discovered Vita Coco Coconut Water I was over the moon.

Metal Straws with Silicone Tips

Considering all the refreshing drinks I’ve been creating this summer and the fact that using a straw makes me feel fancy, I so appreciate these metal, reusable straws! Obviously we all care about the adorable sea turtles and no one wants to be one responsible for giving one an impromptu nose ring or worse, but in addition, using these straws helps lower the amount of plastic that will potentially drift out to sea.  I also use them to bypass my teeth when drinking something sweet and that has been a game changer for both my dentist and me.  The silicone tip means the world to my rather cold-sensitive teeth.  They are adorable and dishwasher-safe and having 16 in different sizes ensures I’ll never not have one handy for an afternoon smoothie or a to-go drink for the car!
